Pure Tea Tree Australian essential oil - Available in 10 ml and 30 ml size

INCI Name: Melaleuca alternifololia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil

Tea tree oil is extracted from Melaleuca alternifolia of the Myrtaceae family. This oil must be one of the most used essential oils, and thousands of people vouch for its wonderful healing properties. With a fresh, antiseptic and medicinal scent, it is best known as a powerful immune stimulant, among other applications and is very pale in color with a watery viscosity.

Tea Tree is a small tree or shrub with needle-like leaves, ready for cutting only two years after its previous harvest. The leaves are steam-distilled to make this refreshing clear oil with a scent that is simultaneously minty, woody, and camphorous.

This oil is very important in the health of the immune system, as it acts as an immune-stimulant and increases the body's ability to fight off any infections, while it is also used to revive the mind and body after shock. It has the ability to fight all three categories of infectious organisms (bacteria, fungi, and viruses). Being a powerful stimulant for the immune system, there is some evidence that massages with Tea Tree Oil prior to an operation may help to fortify the body and reduce post-operative shock.

Apart from its anti-infectious properties of tea tree oil, it is also most effective to help clear bronchial congestion, asthma, coughs, sinusitis, whooping cough and tuberculosis.
